Darling I just received your letters from the postman and realised that I have not updated this since they invented sliced bread... You would not believe my anguish at my misdoings. I hope you still love me!.

I am totally and utterly flat out with making meals, being distracted by the shiny, just generally being a nuisance to every Lost Boy that crosses my path, my day is long and tiring from the first cockadoodledoo from the rooster to way past dusk. I am not being a whinging Pom or anything. but who cares.

I won't promise anything to you but I will update you with my nefarious activities as soon as I get a chance. No, really! What do you mean you don't believe me?.
