Five Things I'm currently obsessing over:
1: Fold up bikes: I'd like to get a pair for us to ride over the summer
2: Going on vacation: Our wedding anniversary in May will hopefully find us strolling romantic Montreal. I got three books out of the library to do some research.
3: Coconut soda. Mmm.
4: Espalier. A method of growing trees in small spaces in a decorative way. Right now every exterior wall of the house and garage has me sizing it up as a possible location for an apple or pear tree. I really can't wait to start digging up the garden this season.
5: Waiting for the bulbs we planted in the fall to bloom. I check them like a maniac every day hoping for a bloom. When I spotted a crocus in the neighbor's yard and none in our yard yet, I knew it will be soon.
What's your obsessive delight this week?
avocado! i ate a huge bowl of guacamole with tortilla chips for dinner last night. mmmm.
coconut soda is the only soda i'll drink, but it's very hard to find here. funny, i was just thinking about it today. something about spring and coconut soda go together.

i wish it wasn't, but my obsession this week is starbucks skim carmel macchiato. i can't get enough of that strong, coffee taste. and to think just 3 months ago, it had been a decade since i had a regular coffee habit, sigh.
i LOVE montreal and have been a number of times. my hub lived there for a year - if you need any recommendations, let me know.
i would love an april meet-up, sorry i'm just now responding to that. it's been FAR too long.

Ooh that is a good list. I haven't had coconut soda before, though. Sounds like a dessert! It would be a cool experiment to grow an espalier. They are quite lovely. I think Martha Stewart covered espaliers in an issue of her magazine a few years back...maybe she would have information about them on her website?
What am I obsessing about right now....well, there's this six course French Cuisine luncheon that I'll be attending next Thursday thanks to a very generous bloggergal/culinary student...YUM! Lucky me!!!
