This week I found myself in a hotel while attending BlogHer Boston. I knew I'd be encountering more hotel mirrors. I wanted to focus on making an image where the camera was not visible in the frame. As often happens when I'm shooting self portraits, the first frame I took ended up being the best. I don't know why that is. Around my neck, I am wearing a pendant depicting Hanuman, a Hindu god. I will not travel without it. It is joined by a pendant given to me by Leonie as a surprise present at a moment recently when I really needed a little lift. I thought it was important to wear something given to me by a blogger friend to the BlogHer event.
