The gardens will be open until 5/25/08 and then close for extensive renovations until 2010. Admission is free but requires online reservations. I've booked a visit for April 26th with my mom and Cyndemouse. Looks like tickets are very scarce. I have one extra. Email me if you'd like to join our group.
Brooklyn Botanical Garden Their cherry blossom festival continues thru 5/11/08. Check out their handy dandy status map to see how the trees are blooming this year.
What's already penciled into your social calendar?

Heading to Sydney on Thursday for work then staying for some of Anzac Weekend - catching up with friends and possibly a trip to IKEA. Back in time to see Dr Plonk at ANU Flim Group.
Back to Sydney for The Sydney Miniatures Show the following weekend - day trip only as I want to see Atonement and Elizabeth: The Golden Age the night before.
Double feature of Control and 24 Hour Party people (excellent match!) the following weekend then we're running a stall at the Old Bus Depot Markets Festival of Wool Day on Sunday 18th.
Probably having to drive 4 hours the next week to a dinner for (other) work then on to Melbourne for birthday/ Eurovision weekend.
And that's just the next month :-/
