Yes, I've been mum lately. Sorry for the lag in transmissions here. My ears got together behind my back and decided it would be fun if both of them got spectacularly infected and made me dizzy and dull. A round of antibiotics has gotten me back on track. Due to the ick attack, I've not been up to too much excitement.
We've been watching old monster movies lately. So far we've seen Dracula, The Wolf Man, Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein. I'd seen all but The Wolf Man before but it's been so long I'd forgotten them. Sweets hadn't seen any of them which is why we're on this track. He'll probably write something about them this month. I thought Frankenstein was the best out of the bunch. The way it was shot is really quite beautiful. The Wolf Man wasn't half bad either but there were a few points I quibbled over. Mainly that it's set in England but only some of the cast have an accent. Actually that seems to be the case in Frankenstein, too. It's set in Germany but Herr Frankenstein sounds British and there's not a lick of a German accent.
